The
new
Pak Kok ferry pier is becoming
almost home for many hobby
fishermen. There are often more
of them lingering on the pier
for hours than ferry passengers
(see right side of the pier).
But at least one of them prefers
to fish OFF the pier, like on
this tiny, one-person island,
sometimes used for flying flags.
At lowest tide, this mini-island
is revealed:

getting so busy!
Whoaaah! The number of bikes has
been DOUBLING since yesterday at
the Pak Kok ferry pier bike
park! Soon the 5 bike hoops
MIGHT not be sufficient anymore!
Meanwhile, this is what might

regular clean-outs of the
massively overflowing large bike park
at the YSW ferry pier:

dragon boat races took place on
Tai Wan To yesterday, Sunday,
with international-standard 500m
and 1000m races for men's,
women's and mixed teams. Gold
medals went to Lamma Dragons
Pink, Lamma Dragons Youth,
Dragonflies, Lamma (North)
Dragons, Lady Buzz, Buzz
Dragons, Team Mushu and Buzz
Dragon Green."
