Feb 17:  Shout-out to Tsui Wah Ferry!

Big and very grateful shout-out to the Tsui Wah ferry staff!
I've left my mobile phone on the seat in the ferry from Aberdeen to Pak Kok today, first time ever.
I waited at this PK pier above 20 minutes for the ferry to return from YSW. Boarding the ferry, the staff handed me my phone, before I could even ask them! The benefits of being a regular passenger...

Feb 16:  Got a Smart Meter?

Have you got a smart electric meter installed already?
HK Electric replaces and installs smart meters in most areas on HK Island and Lamma Island. It is expected that the installation for all customers will be completed by the end of this year.

Through the App, customers can check their daily and half-hourly energy consumption, understand their usage habits and patterns, and make informed choices about their energy use. It's got a consumption alert function, notifying when the usage reaches a specified percentage of the last monthly bill.

Customers with smart meters installed on their premises will receive a notification, inviting them to download the HK Electric App and register for an "Account-On-Line" account to manage their energy usage. For details, please click the hyperlink.

80% of HK Electric's Customers have Smart Meter Installed;
