"Picture
of the Day" came from Zep, our resident Flora & Fauna moderator & expert.
He sent me this beautiful photo a while back, with the following
description: "Also saw this pair
of insects at the weekend. Are they not talking to each other, or engaged
in some kind of weird congress."
I liked Zep's pretty amazing photo; it's
visually simple & clean, great colours & contrasts, fine composition, plus
a scientifically fascinating subject matter...
Many great nature photographers live on the
island and it'll be my pleasure to web-publish their best pictures, with
full credits, of course. Just email them to me!
But then
I got FLOODED with all the pictures below by Lamma's Bug Man, intrepid
insect macro photographer Guy, who sent me ALL these copulating
bugs below. Imagine the patience to get these...
