The big event of the social calendar during autumn 2004
was, of course, Mr DickStock's 50th birthday! Congratulations!
2nd-most
important was his party to celebrate his historic, once-in-a-lifetime
birthday: DickStock X! What started as his 40th birthday party 10 years
ago with DickStock I in 1994 (see T-shirts on the right, click to enlarge)
has become the biggest party/concert event of the year of Lamma Island!
The event
(actually the 6th DickStock so far, see logos above) was such a great
success that Mr DickStock is now walking around with a Hamid Karzai-style
Afghan hat (see below) - made from the finest lamb skin ("Wanna touch my hat?") - trying in
vain to hide his massively swollen head from all the flattering
compliments he's received in the last few days. A humble request by the
Lamma-zine for an interview was answered with a curt
"Talk to my PR people!" without any info
on how to contact them or who they actually are! Harrumph!
I thought I was doing most online PR, putting
up many promos on this website, sending email to all 1,700+ Lamma-zine
subscribers to lure them! Seeing the huge turnout at the party,
most of them seem to have attended the fantastic DIXSTOCK '04!
